With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Batay of Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Shannon Daniel Batay; his parents, Franklin Pheley Batay, Sr. and Atha Whitaker Batay; and his brothers, Cecil Batay, Benny Batay and Leonard Batay.
He is survived by: his wife Donna D. McDaniel of Vidalia; his daughter Lisa Ann Gray (Michael) of Dublin; his siblings, David Batay of Vidalia, Billy Batay of Vidalia, Janice Sizemore (Jay) of Ft. Pierce and Deborah Carpenter (Jimmy) of Vidalia; his grandchildren, Garrett Michael Gray of Alaska, Bianca Kight of Emanuel County and Sophie Shannon Quintero of Dublin; and his nephew Jesse Batay.
