We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2022, at the age of 91, Evelyn Nesbit Gay of Vidalia, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Kerry Douglas Gay; her parents, Ashley Oliver Chance and Effie Mae Sowell Chance; and her siblings, Catherine Chance Daigle, Louise Chance Ward, Jewell Chance McMillan, Oliver Chance, Ernest Chance, Howard Chance, Thurman Chance and Willis Henry Chance.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Ann Gay Darley (Al) and Michael Glenn Gay (Judy); her grandchildren, Alexander Darley (Haile), Andrew Darley, Joshua Gay (Samantha), Michael Davis (Laura), Ashley Gay Rollins (Aaron) and Anna Gay Lee (Cliff); and her siblings-in-law, L. D. McMillan, Sr. and Jean Chance Goodman. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
