Esther Dowd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Dowd (Vidalia, Georgia), who passed away on August 17, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Henry Dowd; her daughters, Bernice Dinah Dowd and Lisa Beasley Smith; and her brothers, C. A. Beasley, J. W. Beasley, Mark Beasley, Billy Beasley and W. L. Beasley.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Dowd (Shirley) of Rock Springs, Reverend Clayton Dowd (Wendy) of Tifton and Drayton Dowd (Kathy) of Rock Springs; and her siblings, Reba Waller of Cedar Crossing and Jimmy Beasley (Jimmy Lou) of Lake Wales, Florida. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
