Essie C. Wilson Obituary
In loving memory of Essie C. Wilson of Vidalia, Georgia, who departed this world on February 25, 2025 at the age of 94. Essie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Essie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Essie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ike Corbitt and Eva Vickers Corbitt; and her husband H. C. Wilson. She is survived by: her nieces, Betty Latrell Gillis of Willacoochee and Barbara Diane Meeks of Axson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sharpe Cemetery.
