He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Dykes, Sr. and LaRue Yawn Dykes. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Dykes of Vidalia; his daughters, Stephanie Dykes of Miami, FL and Katie Scott of Marietta; his brother Tim Dykes of McRae; his grandchildren, Abby Dykes, Pippa Connell, Lance Connell, Maxwell Scott and Jaxon Scott; his mother-in-law Betty Richardson; his aunts, Janet Rogers (Emory) and Shirley Leighton; his nephew Josh Dykes; and his nieces, Mahalie Dykes and Amber Selph (Nate).
