He was predeceased by: his parents, Emson Smith and Fay Day Smith; and his siblings, Alice Shirley, Treva Smith and Charles R. Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Jaunice F. Smith; and his children, Karon S. Durden (Glenn) of Vidalia, Frank D. Smith (Robyn) of Canton and Glenn E. Smith (Sue Jin) of Pembroke. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
