Ellen Hudson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Hudson (Vidalia, Georgia), who passed away on May 8, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend D. L. Hudson; her son Joseph Larry Hudson; her parents, Joe Hardee and Geneva Hardee; her siblings, Mary Lou Peebles and Willard Hardee; and her great great grandchild Hunner Lane Cox.

She is survived by: her daughters, Edie Norton (Kyle) of Vidalia, Elaine Cox (Benny) of Oak Park and Barbara Garrett (Raymond) of Oak Park; her siblings, Dorothy Feltman (Ed) of Alabama, Joann Burkett (Russell) of Vidalia and David Hardee (Betina) of Statesboro; and her grandchildren, Sheila Caraway, Deloris Kersey, Phillip Cox, Sharon Fitch and Pam Hacker. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
