Elizabeth Barwick Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Barwick of Vidalia, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Buford L. Barwick; her son Randall Barwick; her parents, Major McCoy and Effie Allen McCoy; her siblings, Vonnell McCoy, Georgie R. Barwick and Don McCoy; and her sons-in-law, Steven King and Kenneth "Ken" Lanier.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Barwick Lanier (Vidalia) of Collins, Kathy Barwick King of Macon, Jim L. Barwick (Sarah) of Vidalia and David Lee Barwick of Vidalia; her grandchildren, Jessie White (Dana) of Macon, Tasha Barwick of Vidalia, Sierra Dunn and Drew Phillips; her great grandchildren, Hunter Barwick, Lexie White, Jazlynn Banderas, Briley White, Kinsley Rogers and Stetson Dunn; and her sisters, Mert McCoy Thigpen of Dublin, Mary Lou McCoy Warren of Rentz and Ann McCoy Bohannon (Danny) of Hazlehurst.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
