We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2022, at the age of 75, Elemer Caraway of Vidalia, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wives, Marie Thompson and Joanne Dowd Caraway; his parents, Doss Caraway and Maryann Melinda Smith; and his siblings, Cecil Caraway, D. F. Caraway, Elvin Caraway, Erwin Caraway and Junior Caraway.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Caraway of Beverly Hills, Florida; his children, Annette C. Smith (Bruce) of Dublin, Melinda C. Yawn of Vidalia, Cynthia G. Oxford (James) of Wrightsville and Austin Lee Caraway of Vidalia; his stepsons, Alfred Gerogiannis (Tamara) of Ocala and Nicholas Gerogiannis (Tanina) of Ormond Beach, Florida; his sister Mary Caraway Murray of Reidsville; and his grandchildren, Shayla Marie Bearss, Kyle Bruce Smith, Kathryne E. Nobles, Kirsten Powell and Caleb Bridges.
