Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dot Carter of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Hazlehurst, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 85, on July 20, 2022. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles F. Carter; and her parents, Early Lewis Yawn and Miram Leggett Yawn. She is survived by: her children, Pat Carter Hitchcock (Joe) of Cedar Crossing and Timmy Carter of Vidalia; her grandchildren, Ashley Hitchcock of Cedar Crossing, Brock Hitchcock (Alaina) of Jesup, Shayla Carter (Courtney) of Dublin, Leighanna Carter of Statesboro and Hunter Carter of Statesboro; and her great grandchildren, Levi Hitchcock, Dawton Hitchcock, Abigail Hitchcock, Peyson Baker and Lola Collins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Pinecrest Cemetery Paving Fund, PO Box 280, Vidalia, GA 30475.
