He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Waters Waugh; his parents, Mac Aley Waugh and Lillie Bell Casey Waugh; and his siblings, Kenneth Waugh, Bob Waugh, Jim Waugh, Erma Lee Deppner, Judy Carroll and Norma Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Steven Waugh (Cindi) of Naples, Florida, Anna Marie Tyson (John) of Vidalia and Donna F. Hamilton (Mitch) of Vidalia; his sister Nancy McComas (Boots); his sister-in-law Anna Waugh of Huntington; his grandchildren, Daniel Harrell (Cassie), Blair Brady (Art), Josh Harrell (Allison), Laura Dowd (Taylor), Mack Waugh (Katie), Ian Brown (Jessi), Alexia Banuelos (Sean), Drew Tyson (Sam) and Jamey Tyson; his great grandchildren, Carter Harrell, Carson Harrell, Luke Harrell, Rachel Dowd, Lily Mack Brady, Willie Brady, Kaylee Waugh, Brooks Harrell, Harben Brady, Ryan Waugh, Hailey Waugh, Quincy Brown and Ezra Banuelos; and his caregiver Ingrid Tukes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
