She was predeceased by: her parents, Felton E. Shuman and Mary Williamson Shuman; and her sister Phyllis Shuman Bowen. She is survived by: her pet Freckles; her husband Robbie Thompson of Vidalia; her children, Julie Williams English (Justin Ehrecke) and Les Thompson (Meredith); her grandchildren, Andrew Thompson of Smyrna and Eliza Thompson of Smyrna; her sister Sherry Shuman Taylor (Roy) of Mt. Vernon; her siblings-in-law, Danny Bowen (Vickie) of Lyons, Carol Gene Hall of Tennessee and Kay Brown (Davey) of Dublin; and her caregiver Darlene Foskey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
