He was predeceased by: his son Damon Carroll; his parents, Alex Birdie "A. B." Carroll and Maudie Cannady Carroll; and his siblings, Bobby Carroll and Marcia Carroll.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tasha Carroll of Evans and Lynn Carroll of Grovetown; his siblings, Jerry Carroll of Vidalia, Davey Hutcheson (Marcy) of Vidalia and Sandy Ott (Terry) of Douglas; his grandchildren, Chase Oberdick of Evans and Mason Welch of Evans; and his niece Mandy Douglas of Adrian.
