She was predeceased by: her parent Quincey Dean; and her brother Melvin Dean McCoy. She is survived by: her son Matthew McCoy; and her siblings, Billy McCoy, Jessie McCoy (Nita), Brenda Jones, Deborah Edge and Elizabeth Ahl. She is also survived by six nieces and two nephews.
