He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Smith and Oscar Smith; and his niece Heather Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Victoria "Tori" Smith of Lyons and Rebecca "Caroline" Smith of Athens; his siblings, Billy Joe Smith of McDonough and Betty Zane Allen of Atlanta; his nieces and nephews, Todd Smith, Alisa Basaraba, Chantelle Root and Jay Greenwood; and his child Box.
