She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe E. Fountain and Annie Walters Fountain; and her siblings, J. M. Fountain, Juanita F. Henry, LeRoy Fountain, Marvin Fountain, Oreta F. Avery, Bernard Fountain and Festus Fountain.
She is survived by: her husband Garland Gillis of Mt. Vernon; her children, Julie A. Gillis (Randy Moore), Kathy G. Braddy (Byron) of Mt. Vernon and Greg Gillis (Jan Lumley); her sister Wylene F. Denney of Canton; and her grandchildren, Michael S. McNeal (Pam), Jeffrey F. McNeal (Julie) of Vidalia, LeAnn B. Fernandez (Jared) of Falkville and Emily G. Sammons (Benji) of Soperton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
