It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sowell of Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Carroll "J. C." Sowell and Annie Laura Poole Sowell; her brother Kenneth Sowell; and her sister-in-law Mollie Sowell. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Ferdon Arnold (John) of Charleston and Julie Ferdon Mosley of Piketon, Ohio; her grandchildren, Laurel Mosley, Bailey Mosley, Sophia Mosley, Caroline Arnold and Noah Arnold; her great grandchild Layla Whitfield; her brothers, Hubert Sowell (Dianne) and Jerry Sowell of Vidalia; and her sister-in-law Connie Thigpen Sowell of Vidalia.
