She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Parker; her son Larry Connell; her parents, John Otis "Coca Cola" Odom and Cecile Wright Odom; and her siblings, Marlene Odom Duke, Howard Odom and Johnny Odom.
She is survived by: her son Mark W. Connell of Bear Creek; her grandson Mitchell E. Connell (Jennifer) of Statesboro; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Olivia, Annabell, Lucas, Raylan, Abigail and Hattie; her great great grandchild Chase; her brother-in-law Russell Connell; and her adoptive daughter Monika Phillips.
