Bonnie Claxton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Claxton (Vidalia, Georgia), who passed away on October 31, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley E. Claxton; her son Charles E. Claxton; her grandson Christopher E. Claxton; her parents, Herbert Hooks and Minnie Hooks; and her siblings, Anita H. Palacz and Donald "Dinky" Hooks.
She is survived by: her children, Cecelia Claxton Dykes (John) of Gainesville, Patty Claxton Kight (Alvie, Jr.) of Vidalia, Stan Claxton of Augusta and John Lynn Claxton (Tina) of Vidalia; her daughter-in-law Gail E. Claxton; her siblings, Kay Hooks Pryor and Jerry D. Hooks (Jean) of Augusta; her siblings-in-law, Lillian Hooks of Soperton and Delbert Palacz of Augusta; and her grandchildren, Eric Dykes (Cathy), Jason Dykes (Amy), Courtney Claxton, Jordan Kight (Natalie), Morgan Kight (Macy), Lauren Kight, Josh Claxton, Ryan Claxton, McKenzie Claxton, Justin Claxton, Kaitlyn Claxton and Colton Claxton. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
