It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Durden (Vidalia, Georgia), born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on August 13, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Oscar Durden, Sr. and Mattie M. Merrier Durden; and his siblings, Charlie Oscar Durden, Jr. and Martha Nell Winstead. He is survived by: his wife Judy Durden of Vidalia; his children, Bruce Durden (Sarah) of Lyons, Glenn Durden (Karon) of Vidalia, Michael Turner (Denita) of Vidalia and Suzanne Mann of Vidalia; and his grandchildren, Heath Browning, Cassie Neal (Jody), Cameron Durden (Anna), Eric Durden (Allender), Hope Hall (Bo), Whitney Burkett (Justin) and Jamey Turner (Brittney). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Durden requested memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 150, Vidalia, GA, 30475.
