With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Altman of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Lumber City, Georgia, who passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Watson Altman; and her parents, Lorenzo Dow and Sarah Ethelyn Googe Altman. She is survived by: her cousin Doris Still of Vidalia; her daughters, Sarah Jean Altman and Kristi Battleson; her grandchildren, Kyle Johnson, Kirk Johnson and Bryn Battleson; her nieces, Peggy Bowen and Patti Tatum; and her cousins, Rebecca Mitchell, Jack Parish and Brent Parrish. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
