He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Barron Whitehead Godbee, Sr.; his grandparent Warren T. Jenkins; his wife Caroll Odom Godbee; his children, Janie Godbee McGregor (Danny) of Clarksville, Erica Godbee Harden (John Wesley) of Sandersville, Georgia Godbee and Fred Odom Godbee (Mandy) of Vidalia, Georgia; his grandchildren, Mary Katherine Harden, Barron Scott Godbee, Thomas Fulton Godbee and Jack Preston Godbee; his sister Louise Godbee Tucker; his siblings-in-law, Ann Odom Todd and Jack Hartley Todd; and his uncle Barron. He was also cherished by his nieces; his nephew; his cousins, and his sons.
