Barbara Dowd Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Dowd of Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on August 4, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Beatrice Clare Thompson LaMaye; her sisters, Joyce LaMaye Jodoin and Sandra LaMaye; and her great grandchild Benjamin Alan Mercer. She is survived by: her husband William Edward "Eddie" Dowd; her sons, Michael Dowd (Shirley) of Vidalia, Jim Dowd (Marlene Evans), Jeff Dowd (Shelia) of Birmingham and Mark Dowd (Sonja) of Johnson Corner; her grandchildren, Amanda Dowd, Jamie Dowd, Amanda Mercer, Olivia LeComte, Adams Dowd, Taylor Dowd, Cody Dowd and Cole Dowd; and her great grandchildren, Chase Dowd, Katie Hutcheson, Jordan Hutcheson, Connor, Colin Mercer, Rachel Dowd, Moxie Dowd and Violet LeComte.
