He was predeceased by: his daughter Ann Braddy Cannady; and his parents, Willie Braddy and Lucille Walker Braddy. He is survived by: his wife Janet C. Braddy; his children, Glenn Braddy of Kibbee, Linda Sue White of Kibbee, Jerry W. Braddy of Kibbee, Betty Braddy Robinson (Rob) of Carrolton, Mike Braddy (Wanda) of Kibbee and Martha Braddy Garrett of Kibbee; and his sister Lucille Braddy Watson of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
