It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlis Rigdon of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Millen, Georgia, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Holmes Rigdon; his son-in-law Frank Miller; and his parents, Robert Rigdon and Hannah Rountree Rigdon. He is survived by: his wife Eula Mae Rigdon of Vidalia; his children, Dianne Rigdon Miller of Hazlehurst, Judy Rigdon McGowan (Charlie) of Hoover, David Lawrence Rigdon of Cincinnati, Jerry Arlis Rigdon (Todd) of Tucker, Charles Joel Rigdon of Greenville and Terri Rigdon Collins (Buddy) of Vidalia; his grandchildren, Angie, Charli, April, Candice, Eric, Ashley, Davey, Dillon, Baylor and Avery; his stepdaughters, Linda Moss, Patsy Clayton, Cindy Shaw and Donna Haddock; and his stepgrandchildren, Andrea, Lane, Susan and Casey. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
