She is survived by: her spouse Sammie Lee Dixon; her children, Esther Jinks, Samuel Lee Dixon (Beatrice) of Vidalia, Jimmy Dixon (Connie), Carolyn Johnson (Bernard) of Augusta and Jacquelyn Crumpler (Michael) of Phenix City, Alabama; her grandchildren, Meka, Latrese, Jimmy Jr., Eric (Tee), Alicia, Quenet (Maurice), Safaria, Melissa (Erric), Bobby (YaYa), Sam (Jukima), Demetrius, Trenae and Nadia; her sister-in-law Nellie Sanford; her nieces, Lillie Ruth Gillis, Sarah Gillis, Robin Meriweather of Miami and Lorraine Sanford of Atlanta, Georgia; and her nephew Dwight Sanford (Georgia). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
