She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Smith and Lillie Mae Smith; her husband Percy J. Mitchell Jr.; and her siblings, Nellie Mae Burnett, Annie Ruth Valdez, Curtis Smith Jr. and Jessie Smith.
She is survived by: her son Percy J. Mitchell III; her brother David Smith (Beverly); and her daughters, Sheryl Morgan (Andrew) and Patricia Johnson (Anthony). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
