She was predeceased by: her husband Moman Pruitt Farris; her parents, Gurnie Chester Henson and Ora Ophelia Courtney; and her siblings, Gene Hanson, Doyle Hanson and Blanch Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Bonner of Valdosta and Michael Farris of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Kelly Morris of Ray City, Melissa Arnett (Ray) of Cordele, Staci Corbin (Bryan) of Ray City, Brett Myers (Dianna) of Valdosta, Jordan Ferguson (Savannah) of Oklahoma and Tyler Farris of Oklahoma; and her sisters, Louise Stutzman (Larry) of California, Geraldine Burgess of Alabama and Evelyn McElroy (Michael) of California. She is also survived by 17 great grandsons, 1 great great grandchild.
