He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Durant Giles and Romie Croft Hart; and his brothers, Mike Hart of Valdosta, Larry Hart of Alpharetta and Harvey Hart of Valdosta.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Giles of Valdosta; his son Kenneth Jeffrey Giles; his daughter-in-law Guadalupe Giles of Valdosta; his daughter Pamela; his son-in-law Francisco Hernandez of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Joshua Hernandez, Miriam Mendoza, Josue Mendoza (John), Jordan Mendoza (Zane), Gabriella Giles and Kenneth E. Giles; and his sisters, Margie Hopper (Norm) of Panama City, FL, Dorothy Ganas (Barry) of Lake Park, GA and Janice Veal of Valdosta.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar McLane Lakewood Funeral Home (3119 W Marion Ave, Lake Park, GA 31636). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Valdosta Church of the Nazarene and the Greater Valdosta United Way via their Facebook page.
