He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Herrin and Hazel Dickinson Herrin; and his brother Walter Herrin. He is survived by: his sister Jimmie; his brother-in-law Charles Mock; his brothers, Donald Herrin of Valdosta, Gerald Herrin of Valdosta and Johnny Herrin of Valdosta; his nephews, Michael Herrin of Valdosta and Richard Mock (Christin) of Quitman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Mock of Quitman, Scotty Mock of Quitman and Molly Mock of Quitman.
