Wayne N. Cothron Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne N. Cothron of Valdosta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jackson, Sr. and Nell Shiver Cothron; his brother Earl Jackson Cothron, Jr. (Sonny); and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Cothron (Libby) and Karen Cothron.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne and Jessica; his granddaughter Katie Rebecca Corbitt; his brother Mitchell Cothron of Valdosta; his siblings-in-law, Angela, Jimmy Noles, Alisha, Paul McDonald, Kim and Coy Fussell; and his nephew Mitch (Laura Cothron).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Redland Baptist Church (4888 Rocky Ford Rd, Valdosta, GA 31601). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Redland Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
