It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verma Taft Dean of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Taft and Lula Thigpen Taft. She is survived by: her husband Daniel; her sisters, Wilma Whittle (George) and Doris Tew (William); her daughter Katherine Dean of Valdosta; and her nieces and nephews, Ronnie Whittle (Chris), Charles Whittle (Kawana), Dianne (Warren), Janice Blanchard (Marcus), Pam Selden and Sherrell Snipes. She is also survived by great niece and great nephews, along with several great-great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
