She is survived by: her parent Edith Woolwine Akers; her son Joseph Johnson of Valdosta; her daughter-in-law Jenny Johnson of Valdosta; her daughter Susan Johnson of Evergreen; her son-in-law Bill Whitfield of Evergreen; her grandchildren, Laura Keller (Tim), Lyn Johnson (Sonia), Dickie Johnson (Keira) of Valdosta, Bryan Johnson (Ansley) of Savannah, Elizabeth Whitfield Sharpe (James) of Broomfield, Matthew Johnson of Valdosta and Katie Johnson Clary (Ben) of Albany; and her sister Jackie Akers of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren.
