It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy McConnell of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert McConnell; and his daughter Marcy Pace. He is survived by: his wife Joyce McConnell; his children, Lillie McConnell of Valdosta, GA, Melissa Harper of Douglas, GA, Brandi McConnell of Valdosta, GA, Tonia Hall (Ernest) of Valdosta, GA and Troy McConnell, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kayla Graham (Jacob), Billy Hall (Codie), Chad McConnell, Caleb McConnell and Chevy "Lil Bit" McConnell; and his great grandchildren, Aaden Bishop and Bellamy Graham of Augusta, GA.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
