He was predeceased by: his father Walter Meeks; and his wife Jeanette Allen Meeks. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa M. Cartrett (Mike) of Valdosta, Georgia, Karen M. Batchelor of Valdosta, Georgia and Kay M. Anaya-Rubio (Jesse) of Valdosta, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Brandon Cartrett (Erin), Melissa Cowart (Jessie), Ashlie Harrell (Kyle), Audrey Batchelor, Amber Tucker and Nicholas Anaya-Rubio. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several cousins.
