It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Therese Barbara Rivera of Valdosta, Georgia, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Therese McDonald (Hemingway) and David A. McDonald; her daughters, Angie Efird (Bennie) of Hahira, Georgia and Amanda Rogers (late Marcus) of Valdosta, Georgia; her siblings, Donna Couto (late Jude) of Port Charlotte, Peggy Quam (late Larry) of Zephyrhills, Florida, David A. McDonald Jr. of Fairhaven and Patrick Cody of Las Vegas, Nevada.; and her grandchildren, Trinity, Ayden, Xavier and Ray.
