She was predeceased by: her parents, Sankey Booth and Ila Mae Moore Tyson; her brothers, James Paul Tyson, William Russell Tyson and Robert Michael Tyson; her brothers-in-law, Virgil McCrary and Royce Phillips; and her sister Jean Tyson Phillips.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Booth Tyson (Polly) of Bainbridge, GA, Jackie Tyson McCrary of Valdosta and Polly Tyson Talley (George T. Talley); her sister-in-law Mickey Faulkner Tyson of Sparks; her friend Pat West; and her caregiver Pat Alexander. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
