With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Bartholomew of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on July 28, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sarah departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sarah may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sarah leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her close friend Dr. John Oliver; her parents, Martha Bartholomew and Dr. John Bartholomew; her stepmother Anne Waller Bartholomew; and her brother John "Jay" Bartholomew.
She is survived by: her sister Beth Bartholomew Olsen (Michael) of St. Augustine, FL; her nephew Morgan Olsen of Murfreesboro, TN; and her pet Boone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sarah Bartholomew's name to the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts.
