She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Mitchell, Sr. and Queen Ann Jenkins Mitchell; her former husband Andrew Johnson, Sr.; her brothers, Taylor Mitchell, Jr and Bernard Mitchell; and her stepmother Hilda Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Thomas; her children, Patricia Johnson of Valdosta, GA and Andrew Johnson, Jr of Lithonia, GA; her grandchildren, Corey Robinson of Baltimore, MD, Shameaka Butler (Christopher) of Okinawa, Saundra Eldridge (Spencer) of Valdosta, GA and Andre Johnson of Lithonia, GA; her great grandchildren, Carissa Robinson, Christopher Butler, Jr., Christionna Butler, Alannah Eldridge and Ahmad Eldridge; her siblings, Andrew Mitchell of Sanford, FL and Rev. Lisa Coleman of Brooklyn, NY; her sister-in-law Geneva Mitchell of Sanford, FL; her cousin Rosetta Fields of Sanford, FL; and her close friends, Mary Frances and Luke Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
