She was predeceased by: her parents, Johanna Plotz Nieling and Wilhelm Nieling. She is survived by: her daughters, Susanne McFarlane (Brennan) of Valdosta, Georgia and Silvia Chakany of Pittsburg; her grandchildren, Jamie Noll, Andie Chakany of Pittsburg, Emily Rabens of New York and Will Rabens of Virginia; her great grandchild Charlotte Noll; and her sister Margaret Burger (Wilma Nicgorski) of Chicago.
