He is survived by: his son Drywall; his wife Annie Brunelle Thornton of Valdosta; his sons, Harry Thornton (Tami) of Valdosta and Eddie Thornton of Naylor; his grandchildren, Byron Thornton of Valdosta and Amie Flowers (James) of Hahira; and his great grandchildren, Emily-Grace Thornton of Valdosta, Beth-Anne Thornton of Valdosta, Maddie Flowers of Hahira and Jay Flowers of Hahira.
