It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lee Wilson of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy, Sr. Wilson and Vara Lee Adams Wilson; and his wife Jeane S. Wilson. He is survived by: his son Peter; his daughter-in-law Beth Oxarart of Winter Park, FL; his grandchildren, Delayne Carroll, Taylor Roy Oxarart (Annie) and Morgan Dabney; his great grandchildren, Logan, Karlie Carroll, Quinn and Emmy Oxarart; his daughter Kema Wilson Loo of Riverside, CA; his grandchildren, Kalai Fawcett, Amy Purcell and Elizabeth Purcell; his great grandchildren, Breanna Woods, Bridgett Fawcett, Daniel Fawcett and Madison Purcell; his son Roy L. Wilson, II; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Wilson of Lake Park, GA; his daughter Robin J. Black (Robert C. Black, Jr.) of Laguna Niguel, CA; his grandchildren, Taylor Black Hill (Franklin Hill) of Laguna Hills, CA and Tory Black Smithe (Kyle Smithe) of Sacramento, CA; his daughter Terri Ann Guilford (Doug) of Quartsite, AZ; his grandchildren, Kristin Boyd, Kelly Kiesselbach, Robert Wilson Boyd and Cameron Boyd; his great grandchildren, Nicolas Grothjan, Ryan Kiesselbach, Jessica, Baylee Kiesselbach, Chase Boyd, Cody Boyd and CJ Boyd; his sister Vera Lee Green of Gray, GA.; and also, Harrison Robert Hill, Holland Jane Hill, Finn Robert Smithe and Rosealynn Lucero Kiesselbach. He is also survived by six children, and nineteen grandchildren.
