He is survived by: his wife Merrie Zipperer (Nobles) of Valdosta; his daughters, Julie (Kevin Thomas), Jessica (Jeffery Godwin) and Anna (Craig Willis); his grandchildren, Emily, Taylor Slocumb, Hannah Rowland, Ella Godwin, Evan and Eliza Willis; his great grandchildren, Ruby and Clover Roberts; his siblings, Janet Pennington of Atlanta and Sammy; his sister-in-law Ann Zipperer of Athens; his nephews, Joe Pennington and Sam Zipperer; and his pet Zelda Faye.
