He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Clinton Wetherington (Vera Taylor Wetherington) and Remer; and his siblings, Wetherington, Jr., Charles Wetherington, Ronald Wetherington, Roy Wetherington and Evelyn Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Wetherington of Valdosta; his sons, Ed (Gwen Wetherington) and Bruce (Melissa Wetherington); his grandchildren, Ansley Wetherington of Athens, Reynolds Wetherington of Fairburn, Claudia Wilson of Charlotte, NC, Abby Wilson of Auburn, AL, Zackery Wetherington of Kennesaw and Caleb Wetherington of Acworth; his sisters-in-law, Christine Wetherington of Valdosta and Brenda Wetherington of Tifton; and also Matt Gay. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
