She was predeceased by: her parents, William Terry Willis and Cora Lee Williams Willis; her husband Ernest Thompson; her great grandchild David Stanfill; her brothers, Curtis Willis and Edwin Willis; and her brothers-in-law, JD Thompson and Dock Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Thompson (Cathy) of Moultrie, Judy Bickers (Jeff) of Valdosta and Tommy Thompson (Ruth) of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Jeremy Thompson (Linsie), Laken Ward, Ryan Beckham, Chance Bickers, Connor Bickers, Sam Stanfill, Hope Amador and Jim Stanfill (Katrina); her great grandchildren, Analee Thompson, Joslin Thompson, Bowen Thompson, Zoey Ward, Gabby Ward, Aden Ward, Alissa Beckham, Airen Beckham, Adam Stanfill (Haley), Levi Stanfill, Noah Stanfill and Taylor Stanfill; her sister Sue Carol Braswell (Steve); her sister-in-law Mildred Thompson (Dorothy Thompson); and her niece Kristen Jolly. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
