Pearline Knox Hammond Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearline Knox Hammond of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. K. Knox and Lucille Brogdon Knox; her husband Henry Claude Riley; her son Bennie Wayne Riley; and her sisters, Diane, Geraldine and Kay.
She is survived by: her son Michael Lane Riley (Jeanette) of Jackson, Georgia; her sister Pauline Day of Valdosta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Brandi and Jeremy Jernigan; her great grandchild Jaylynn Jernigan; her grandchildren, Kyle Riley (Macey), Matt Cawthon, Ben Cawthon (Emily) and Justin Riley; and her great grandchildren, Zacc, Harper, Carter, Jaxon and Ellie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fender Cemetery (533 River Rd, Lakeland, GA 31635).
