He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Herndon and Arwilla Herndon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Herndon; his children, Randy Herndon of Valdosta, GA, Ronnie Herndon of Valdosta, GA and Pam Brumfield (Buddy Harris) of Valdosta, GA; and his siblings, Henry Herndon (Tracy) of Bellville, FL, Charles Herndon of Bellville, FL, Jay Hughes (Donna) of Valdosta, GA, Hilda Parker (Allen) of Lake Park, GA and Geneva Herndon of Valdosta, GA.. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
