She was predeceased by: her father Henry Selph; and her adoptive father Charles Godwin. She is survived by: her mother Geneva Jowers Godwin of Quitman, Georgia; and her siblings, Steve Selph of Valdosta Georgia, Cliff Selph of Valdosta, Danny Selph (Crystal) of Savannah, Georgia and Shelly Patterson of Barney, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Redland Baptist Church, 4888 Rocky Ford Rd, Valdosta, Georgia 31601.

“I have sweet memories of Bonnie. We were next door neighbors, back in the day! I feel sadness, but I'm sure nothing like all of you do. I didn't know it what so imminent, but I was so grateful to have seen her at Redland, for several weeks! A chance to reconnect, to go over memories we shared and to think about the immediate family. My heart goes out to each of you: Cliff, Shelly, Danny and of course, you Mrs. Jenny! I hold you all up in prayer, Love you all, Lynn Gay Eager”
