It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Diane Johnston of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Carter and Myrtle Wise Carter; and her sister Marcia Carter. She is survived by : her children, Bartlett Lamar Johnston, Jr. of Valdosta, GA and SheRee Tomlinson (Jeff) of Valdosta, GA; her grandchildren, Amber Pipkin, Joshua Tucker, Tiffany Johnston and Conner Johnston; and her siblings, James Ronald Carter and Terry Lynn Atkins. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
