She was predeceased by: her parents, Orin Kendrick and Mary Jane Childs; her husband Roy L. Bennett; and her siblings, Silas Kendrick, Steve Kendrick, Annie Jean Oster and Mary Lou Kendrick.
She is survived by: her son Roger; her daughter-in-law Robin Bennett of Lake Park; her children, Tina Bennett (Glenn Moore), Robbie (Tony Reynolds), Danny Bennett of Valdosta, Tyrone Bennett of Valdosta and Rhonda; her son-in-law Brian Walker of Lakeland; her sister Ardith Gazzo of Biloxi, Mississippi; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Legette of Valdosta, Mary Flurry of Texas and Shelia Bennett of Valdosta. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
